Re-install XP on a dual boot XP/Vista PC
I've had grief with XP MCE on my system in several areas due to HP not supplying drivers for XP since the system was made to run Vista and Vista Ultimate 64 runs flawlessly on it. So.... I gave up. still did not work. I installed VistaBootPro in Windows XP. Installed Vista Bootloader using system bootloader tab, selected C drive, which is what my XP is installed, and still just boots directly into XP, no boot menu option to choose XP or Vista. I just can't seem to get this to work properly in that way.

Can you say more about what is happening? Did you install XP first and Vista second? Are you getting a boot menu when you turn on the computer? The computer would not boot. I went into the Repair Module from the CD and did a "Fixboot" command. I suspect that it reconfigured the boot.ini file.
